Sustainability matters

Welcome to my blog. Although you may be sceptical, here’s why my products are sustainable.

1.        All my products are made from natural fabrics (cotton, silk, linen wool) so no petrochemicals were used in their manufacture, no microplastics are shed during use/washing, and they are biodegradable.

2.        My clothing is pre-loved so it has been worn many times and was rescued from becoming landfill.

3.        I use natural dyes and ecoprint processes which do not involve harmful chemicals in their utilisation.

4.        I also upcycle fabrics from other items such as sheets, roman blinds and make them into new products – quilts, bags, accessories etc. Again, this reduces landfill and environmental impact of textiles.

5.        Finally, when you buy from me I will send you your product in recycled packaging if that is feasible.
