1. Buy high quality, buy less, buy handmade

2. Buy from UK small businesses, so reducing transport costs.

3. Shop by bus /train if possible

4. Buy pre-loved clothing for occasion -wear

5. Club together as a family or with friends, so each person gets one meaningful present.

6. You can also gift to charity in lieu of a present. Try Treeaid or Unicef for innovative gift ideas.
